Moot Davis – Hierarchy of Crows

American singer/songwriter and actor Moot Davis was born and raised in the working class enclave of Trenton, New Jersey. For the past 16 years he has toured around the world and released four albums.

Hierarchy of Crows, the upcoming fifth studio album, was recorded entirely in Hollywood, California starting back in 2014 during brief breaks from the road. There is a distinct, harder edge to the songs while still retaining his Honky-tonk & Americana roots. Moot moves into heavy riff-driven rock and roll with his fifth album, creating a lush sonic landscape of danger, loss, rebellion and wounds that will never heal.

In a break with his past recording projects, Moot chose to produce this album himself assisted by Grammy winner Randy Mitchell as engineer. The album also prominently features guitarist Stormy Rhodes who has worked with many diverse artists such as Keith Urban, ZZ Top, Martina McBride, Glenn Campbell, The Allman Bros., Merle Haggard and The Mavericks. Also lending his guitar work is Gary Morse, veteran steel player who has recorded and toured with some of the biggest names in country music including Dwight Yoakam, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley and Ricky Skaggs.

Moot has 21 songs in films such as the Academy Award winning “CRASH” and hit film “THE HILLS HAVE EYES” as well as numerous television shows.
Moot and his band will be on tour in the U.S. and Europe to support the release of Hierarchy of Crows starting in Summer of 2017.
